Lucille Roser is a multimedia artist who enjoys travel and teaching. It enables her to search out interesting and exciting subjects to paint.
At the present time she is very involved in experimental work, mainly in acrylics, water media, and collage with oriental papers.
She studied for years at Mt. Hood Community College and the Portland Art Museum Art School in Oregon. Her instructors were sculptor Manuel Isqueirdo and Louis Bunce, a well-known Oregon artist and teacher. Four years of study at Mt. Hood Community College put her in touch with many fine teachers who helped to complete her studies in Art.
She continues learning and experimenting, not only for her own gratification but for the education of her community. She enjoys painting in watercolor and oil, pastels, and pen and ink.
She is a member and past president of the Lake Havasu City Art Guild and a member of the International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA). She is on the board of the Arts and Cultural Commission of Lake Hvasu City, whose purpose is to inform various local organizations of possible cultural events that would be of interest to the community.
Lucille is a very versatile artist whose work appeals to a variety of tastes. Her work hangs in private homes throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe.
